When I finished my kitchen, I realized that I needed something cute for the window but TOTALLY on the cheap because.....well, because that's how I roll.
So along came this sweet little valance!
('scuse my window, all the windows in my house have buildup in between the double panes...ANNOYING! We'll eventually replace them, when windows get cheaper or.....whatever)
It's a twin bed sheet, cut and black ribbon added to the bottom! Picked up some curtain clips, spray painted a PVC pipe and added some finials I found for a $1.00 at a thrift store to the ends! There ya have it, a DIY curtain rod on the CHEAP!
I'm LOVIN' IT!
way to go!

Janet,
ReplyDeleteCute curtain! The black and white high contrast is so graphic and on spot trendy! I love bed sheets. Actually, I used a twin sheet as backing when I made my daughter's comforter -on sale, it was much cheaper than purchasing fabric.
I'm visiting from the CRAFT linky party and would love if you stopped by my blog too.
Thanks for sharing,
Laura
So sweet!
ReplyDeleteFound you over at Lil Luna!
I'd love for you to come link this up at my Tuesday Time Out Party - open all week! There's a $50 Amazon card up for grabs this week too!
